LUXURY GLAMPING PODS WITH HOT TUBS NORTH EAST

spent 3 nights here with my daughter, lovely little bank holiday away. everything you need for a little peace and quiet. Jill and Ray are lovely people...been here 3 times now and will 100% be back, maybe in the summer holidays. Thank you for a lovely stay. Chelsea and Billie 😁♥️

Just came home from 2 nights here with our 7 year old and 10 month old and couldn’t recommend this place enough! The pods were so spacious, even with the couch pulled out and travel cot in there was still loads of room. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough even did an Easter egg hunt for the kids and brought us some eggs to the pod as we forgot to pack them. We can’t wait to come back ❤️

We had a lovley couple nights stay at west way Glamping and the guys who seen us to our pod were lovley & helped us with anything ☺️

Our first time staying, in Badger, definitely won't be the last! Owner Ray made gate more secure as it was a very windy night, we had our dog with us and gate had blown open. Great from start to finish. Owners very welcoming and friendly. We can't wait to stay in Badger again in the summer, absolutely stunning place. Friends and work colleagues are booking after being shown photos🥰

We had the most chilled autumn break with our 5 year old boys, they absolutely loved the location, hot tub, park and novelty of us all sleeping in a cosy cabin, by far the best part for them was the owners dogs Rupert and Teddy ❤️ The site is such a hidden gem and one we will definitely be returning too!

The owners are so friendly and work none stop, which shows in how well looked after the whole site is!

We’ve visited a number of glamping pods over the last few years in various parts of the UK and this has been by far the most picturesque location & well equipped we’ve stayed in.
The owners Ray & Gill have created a wonderful little escape here and everything has been so well thought out on the site and in the pods. Little details that show they have put their heart & soul into the place, thought about making their visitor’s experience just right, the site and pods are immaculate.
We stayed for 4 weekday nights and found they are easy to find around on site too, cleaning / maintaining the grounds so you feel like you can catch them if you need anything - Ray was very helpful with advising on the places we wanted to visit & there’s also a very comprehensive info pack in the pod to help with finding local restaurants too.
The hot tubs are spot on, clean and well maintained too & it was great to be able to preorder wood for the fire pit and everything was there ready when we arrived.
Each pod has its own designated parking and there is a luggage cart to make moving your bags from the car easier.
It’s near to Broom House Farm & Coffee Shop - so handy for getting a good cooked breakfast before heading out for the day.
All in all West Hall is wonderful place for a short break to chill & get away from it all &/or use as a base to explore Durham and the surrounding areas.
We would definitely recommend & will return here if we visit Durham again.

Perfect little getaway. Serene location where you can escape city life but still very much accessible to local attractions. We have just arrived home after a two night stay and it wasn’t long enough! We definitely could’ve stayed longer and will most definitely be back to visit again! The pods are immaculately kept as is the whole site. We loved our stay here at West hall Glamping pods (pheasant pod).

We loved the hot-tub, the fire pit for toasting mallows in the evening, the free welcome basket, meeting new friends in the park, playing fetch with the dogs and of course the Chickens.

The area is very close drive to Beamish (highly recommend) and Durham. Also visited Seaham sea glass beach which is a lovely area.
